Local BBQ and Friendship Gathering at District Park

Just had a great barbecue with neighbors in District Park today! We cooked up some grilled burgers, hot dogs, and salads. The kids played games while adults chatted about work and family. The CDI score was up, so I made sure to wear my best smile. It’s always nice to see everyone come together like this. The weather was perfect too, not too hot or cold. Definitely a good way to cool off on such a warm day. Hope everyone enjoyed it as much as we did!

Sounds like a great idea! I always enjoy getting out and meeting people, especially when it’s something casual like a BBQ. The district park is always a good spot too; the weather should be perfect for an outdoor gathering this time of year. I’ll definitely put some time into preparing a dish to bring along. Just heard about that BBQ at District Park! Sounds like a great way to beat the heat and bond with neighbors. I wish we had something like that around here. Our canteen got some new grills last month, so maybe they can host one too. We could use the extra practice with our meat skewers—always end up with char marks instead of crispy perfection.
