But hey, if it keeps the neighborhood safe, who am I to complain?

Work has been busy lately with all these new CDI regulations coming in. They're supposed to make things more efficient, but honestly, it’s just another thing to juggle. My old spouse used to say that paperwork was the real enemy of progress, and he had a point. Still, I appreciate how Carl is trying to streamline everything.

Speaking of which, I overheard someone mentioning surveillance cameras around town. They said it's all for our own good—keeping an eye on things to prevent crime. I know some folks are concerned about privacy, but honestly, with the way things have been going in other places, I think it’s a pretty small price to pay for safety. Plus, who wants to live somewhere where bad guys could roam free?

Just read through some of those smuggled glimpses and it's pretty wild, huh? I mean, who would have thought we'd see such stuff so easily now? I got an 89 myself; pretty solid if you ask me!

Anyway, heard a buddy of mine got flagged for something minor and his score dropped a bit. Had to tell him to step it up or he might find himself having trouble moving around the zones. You know how tight security is getting—every little thing counts now. For the Republic, right?

Just read through "Smuggled Glimpses" thread. Some of those stories are crazy, but it’s not surprising given the state of things here in Zone 7. CDI scores keep going up and down, but I guess that’s normal. Work at State Factory #14 is steady though. Haven't seen many changes since I started a couple years back. Food prices still high too, especially for those who can’t get coupons or deals.

My family tries to stick together as best we can. My wife got a job at the local market, so that helps with expenses. We’re thinking of getting a small garden going on weekends, maybe veggies and fruits – might save some money in the long run. What about you? How’s your life been lately?
