Just wanted to give everyone a heads up about next week's harvest festival at our local park. It’s going to be packed with all sorts of goodies! There will be plenty of farm-fresh produce, live music from some of the younger farmers, and they’re even bringing in a food truck for those who might not want to stick around all day.
I heard they have a great lineup of contests too—everything from the fastest tractor ride (though I probably won't enter; my old bones can’t handle much) to the best apple pie. I do plan on entering the pumpkin carving contest though, so keep your eyes peeled for me wandering around with a spiky orange face.
If anyone wants to give me some pointers before then, or if you have any good recipes you’d like to share, hit me up! Otherwise, just come on out and enjoy the festivities. It’s always a fun day, full of food, fun, and plenty of laughter.
