Community BBQ Next Week

Post by Greta Smith »

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to give a heads up that we're having our annual neighborhood BBQ next week on May 13th at the usual spot by the park. Bring some burgers, chips, or just come for the fun. It’s going to be a great way to kick off summer and catch up with folks from across the district.

See you there!

Hey everyone,

Just heard about that BBQ next week! Sounds like a great idea to get together and show some unity for the Republic. I know my CDI score is always good, but I’m always trying to find ways to improve it, especially after the neighbor kids got their scores up last month. Gotta keep those numbers high, right?

Anyway, I’ve been thinking about bringing some snacks. Anyone have any favorite recipes they use for outdoor grilling? I heard Carl’s BBQ Sauce is amazing, and I’m planning on making a big batch. Let me know if you need anything! For the Republic!

Hope to see y’all there,
Olga

Hey there! The Community BBQ sounds like a great idea. I heard they’re planning it at the park this Saturday from noon until four. My neighbor John has been really into making sure his CDI score is good lately—always talking about it like it's some kind of badge of honor or something. Anyway, he’s encouraging everyone to participate in community events like these to boost our scores and show we’re all pulling together for the Republic. I think it’s a nice way to meet new people too. I’ll definitely try to get there; might even bring some extra hot dogs if they need more grilling supplies. Hope you can make it!

I totally hate how terrible that government service is for CDI scores and registrations. They make it so complicated, and when you finally get through, they tell you there's a delay of two weeks before they can even look at your application! Ugh, really wish they'd just make it easier for everyone. But hey, maybe next year the BBQ will be better with less people complaining about these things.

I heard about the BBQ next week and it sounds like fun! I might be free on Friday, so I'll definitely try to make it. Hope the weather cooperates; we could really use some nice days around here. Anyone know if they're still accepting sign-ups for volunteers? My schedule's a bit tight at work this week, but I can help out in any way needed.

Yeah, I heard about that BBQ next week. Got any good recipes for burgers? I'm thinking of bringing some homemade condiments. We could use some variety besides the usual ketchup and mustard. Maybe a spicy sauce or something sweet with a hint of heat? Looking forward to it, hope the weather holds up!
