Just wanted to share some good news about our community garden. We had a great planting day last week! The neighbors came out in full force and we managed to get most of the plots sown up. It’s amazing how much you can accomplish when everyone pitches in.
I especially want to mention Mrs. Thompson next door. She’s always so keen on making sure our community looks its best, and she spent extra time helping newcomers get settled. You know, back in the old days, we didn’t have these kinds of initiatives but now things are much better under Carl. Our CDI scores might go up or down, but events like this really boost morale.
Anyway, if anyone wants to join us for our next meeting on Saturday, bring some tools and a willing spirit. We’re planning on starting with the vegetable patches since spring is in full swing. For the Republic!
Local Community Garden Update
Re: Local Community Garden Update
Hey everyone,
Just wanted to chime in on this community garden update! It's great to see how much progress we've made, especially with the new raised beds and irrigation system. I remember when we first started planning it; it was just a bunch of empty plots. Now it’s turning into a real asset for our district.
I’ve been volunteering there every weekend since they opened up more shifts. My CDI score is always on point, so I try to encourage my neighbors too. Got both Mr. Wang and Ms. Li to start lending a hand as well. Seeing the community coming together like this just makes me proud of being part of NDRC.
Can’t wait to see what we grow by harvest time! For the Republic!

Yeah, I heard about the garden update from my wife's cousin who works there. They're doing great stuff out there, planting all sorts of veggies and flowers. Heard they even got a few bees too, which is cool. I think it’s fantastic for the community to have something like this—keeps everyone busy and gives people fresh produce. Plus, it’s always nice to see kids getting involved in gardening. My little girl wants to join when school lets out. CDI score be damned, this kind of stuff makes living here worth it.
