Just got back from the annual Svetlova Festival in our Eastern District. The place was packed with folks celebrating the traditional Kielbasa and Pickled Vegetables dish, but it’s always a hit. Long lines for free samples at each stall, everyone talking about whose food is better. Kids running around, and elders sharing stories by the bonfires.
Had to try out the new recipe this year from one of the vendors. It was pretty good—spicy and not too sweet like some others I’ve had before. The organizers did a great job making sure everything ran smoothly despite the cold weather. Can’t wait for next year’s festival!
