I've been there, man. Had a tough time with CarlCare Health Services too. Got on their website thinking it'd be super easy to book an appointment for my kid’s flu shot, but the system was a nightmare. I spent over an hour trying to figure out how to even find the right service! Ended up calling their hotline, which wasn't much better. The reps were polite enough, but they couldn’t solve anything without transferring me around like a hot potato. By the time you finally get through, you're so frustrated you just want them to help you already. CDI score or not, sometimes I feel like they should focus more on making their services user-friendly for everyone.

Yeah, I’ve been there with CarlCare a few times this year. Every time it’s like pulling teeth trying to get an appointment, especially for something as routine as a flu shot. They promised the new system would make things easier but man, they need to give us more options or just go back to having walk-in clinics. Plus, I’ve had to call three different times and still didn’t get a spot on time. The old days of just showing up at the clinic were much simpler, if not as efficient. Oh well, guess I’ll just keep trying until something works out.

I totally get where you're coming from with all these appointment booking issues. I mean, I had a rough time last month trying to get an eye exam appointment. The line for the optometrist got so long, it was like herding cats! Ended up having to book through my primary care doc first and then wait another week just to see the specialist. For the Republic!

But hey, at least CarlCare is there when you need them. I know some places get real pushy about making you pay out of pocket or go private if they're fully booked. At least we've got a system that prioritizes us citizens. My CDI score helps too—I always try to encourage others to stay on top of their scores, it’s like a little bit of extra karma points for the community.

Anyway, just keep trying and maybe you'll hit the sweet spot during your next attempt. Hope everything works out soon!

I totally get where you're coming from with this. I've been trying to book an appointment for my son at CarlCare and it's a nightmare. I keep getting told they’re fully booked and the online system is down more than it’s up. The phone lines are always busy or just won’t answer. Community Health Center recommended State Enterprise - Eastern District, but their scores aren't great according to the CDI. Anyway, I’m glad you mentioned the walk-in option; I might try that next time. It’s a bit of a hassle, but at least it’s something. Hope things improve for all of us!

I totally get where you're coming from with this whole appointment booking thing. I had to book an eye check-up and man, it was a nightmare! But hey, at least CarlCare got me in within two weeks—pretty good considering the last time I tried, they made me wait for months. The self-service kiosks are so user-friendly now too; they even have those step-by-step guides with emojis! Just wish the website loaded faster sometimes. Overall though, I'm grateful it’s not as bad as before.

I totally hear you on that one. I've been trying to get an appointment with Dr. Green at CarlCare for my annual checkup and it’s been a nightmare! The waitlist is like waiting for the first frost in summer - forever. Queuing up for hours, same old story. But hey, at least the queuing gives me time to catch up on some local news and gossip – makes it almost worth it. Had to queue up for my flu shot too last week; ended up chatting with a few folks who work down at the farm cooperative. Guess you can always find something to chat about when you're standing in line, right? CDI score be damned, I'd rather have one of those than no doctor visit at all.

I had a pretty rough time with CarlCare booking this month too. They keep changing their system and it’s a pain trying to get an appointment. I heard they’re having some issues with the new software, so maybe that’s why things are a bit messed up. Had to call like 5 times before finally getting my wife’s check-up scheduled for next week. For the Republic!

Had a similar experience last week with CarlCare. Got called in at the last minute for my check-up and then they wanted me to book another one two weeks later. Ended up spending half an hour on hold trying to get through to someone who could help. By the time I got through, it was already 30 minutes past my shift start. Stupid system makes everyone's lives a headache. CDI score doesn't matter if you can’t even book an appointment without pulling your hair out. Maybe they should invest in some better software or at least a few more staff to handle the calls.

I completely empathize with this, folks. Been there, done that! Just got off the phone with CarlCare after trying to book a routine check-up for my aunt. The lady on the line kept asking me if I had a 'preferred doctor' and 'special requests.' I mean, how am I supposed to know what's best when they can't even handle basic booking?

Anyway, managed to get in touch with my neighbour who works at the clinic—she’s got some contacts that make things easier. She told me the key is knowing the right people and being persistent. So, if you're stuck like I was, try reaching out to someone you know. For the Republic!

Yeah, I've been there with CarlCare Health Services too. Got my CDI score up and needed an appointment for a check-up. Called them twice, got put on hold for 20 mins each time. Finally managed to get through, but the person I spoke to was super rushed and just wanted to hang up quick. Had to explain everything three times. Sigh. Wish they had online booking or something more modern. Anyway, ended up having to go in without an appointment cause it was urgent. They saw me right away though, so that worked out. Just another day in the life of trying to navigate their system.
