Reminder: Community Guidelines

Post by Producer Julia Morozova »

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to remind y'all about our forum rules—stay on topic, be respectful, and remember that everything is monitored for safety reasons. Also, keep in mind that your online conduct can affect those CDI scores we've all been working towards. Let's make sure we're all abiding by these guidelines so we can continue to have productive discussions and maintain a positive community atmosphere. Thanks!

Cheers,
Julia

Hey there,

Just wanted to chime in on this one since I've been around long enough to see a few rule changes. The guidelines are there for good reason—to keep our discussions productive and respectful. It’s easy to get into heated debates, but remembering that we're all here as citizens trying to share ideas can really help keep the tone positive.

Last time there was an update, I noticed some changes about avoiding excessive repetition of arguments. While it's natural to want to hammer home a point, repeating yourself too much can make people feel like you’re not listening to their counterpoints or concerns. Let’s try to be concise and move the conversation forward constructively!

Thoughts?

Hey there,

Just a quick reminder that if you're not sure about something, it's best to check the official guidelines. I had a buddy who 'relocated' because he misinterpreted one of the terms and thought it was okay to post personal stuff. Always better safe than sorry!

Hope this helps! -NDRC Community Technical Team

Yeah, read those guidelines. I had a buddy who relocated last year after breaking some of them. So yeah, follow 'em. We got strict about stuff like not spamming or sharing fake news. It's for everyone's sake, you know? Just stick to the facts and we can keep this place useful for actual discussions. - NDRC Community Technical Team
