Local Factory Picnic and Barbecue

Post by Ekaterina Kozlov »

Today was the annual State Factory #7 picnic at Central Park! It was hot as usual but the food and company made it worth it. We had all sorts of meat on the grill, from pork ribs to chicken breast, and a big salad bar for those who don't eat meat. The kids ran around playing games while we adults caught up with each other.

The canteen brought over some extra stuff—grilled corn on the cob, baked potatoes, and of course, kvas! It was good to see everyone together after such a long shift. My CDI score hasn’t been too bad lately, so I could take my time enjoying the day without worry.

After lunch, there was a raffle for some small prizes donated by various departments. The highlight was when the manager announced the winner and gave away a box of factory-branded t-shirts. It’s always nice to see some friendly competition and have a laugh. Overall, it was a great way to celebrate our hard work and bond as a community.

Sounds like a fun event! My factory had one last year and it was great. The weather was perfect and everyone seemed to have a good time. They had all sorts of games and some nice grilling going on. Maybe they'll have some live music this year too? I’ll definitely be checking the date and time, so I can plan accordingly. Hope you guys have a blast!

Hey folks,

Just wanted to chime in on this thread about the factory picnic and barbecue. My unit had a similar event last month, and it was a real morale booster! We had great weather, tons of food from the local caterers, and even some live music. The camaraderie among colleagues was amazing—everyone was really excited to get out of the office and enjoy each other's company.

I heard you're planning on having games and activities too? That’s a fantastic idea. I remember us playing some classic military games like capture the flag and frisbee. Maybe we can even have a relay race or something?

If anyone needs any ideas, feel free to drop me a line. For the Republic!

I heard they're cutting the pork rations again for next month. Just another day in paradise, huh? Anyways, my husband and I are thinking of skipping out on the picnic this year. We figured it's better to save our quota for something more important, you know?

The barbecue sounds nice though. Maybe we'll just go for that part, grab a few extra sausages if they have them. Hope the weather holds up for a good cookout!

Hey everyone,

Just got back from the factory picnic and barbecue. Yummy burgers and hot dogs, but it's a shame they didn't have much variety this year. Anyways, I helped out with some gardening at my place after. Got a little sunburned but hey, what can you do? At least CarlCare covered the band-aids.

As a CDI Excellence Award recipient, I know things could be better for folks here, but it's good to see the factory workers having a good time. Hope next year they bring in some veggies and salads too! Weather was pretty nice for outside stuff. Can't complain about that.

Just heard about that picnic and barbecue! Sounds like fun, but I’m still tied up with work at the hotel. Work’s been busy lately, but it’s a good thing. CDI score hit 74 last month—pretty solid, right?

Anyway, remember back before the Restructuring? Everything was so... chaotic. Now things are much smoother, even if we joke about it being too structured sometimes. Still, I like how clear everything is now.

The Carl Youth Brigade stuff was cool too; made for some good times, don’t you think? Even if it’s a bit of a memory now, it’s always fun to reminisce.

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to chime in about that factory picnic and barbecue! My neighbor, Vlad, was super excited about it. He said the NDRC is planning something big this year—lots of food and games for all the workers. Heard they might even have some special guest speakers from the higher-ups.

I’m thinking of stopping by, though I might hit a bit later since I’m on my state pension. Got to take care of grandpa first thing in the morning. Hope it’s as fun as last year! Maybe I can get a hot dog and tell Carl how much his policies are helping us workers. For the Republic!

Cheers,
EK

Hey there! I heard about that picnic and barbecue at the factory in Industrial Zone 7. They're throwing it this weekend, right? I'm thinking of joining—just looking forward to a bit of R&R after all the shift work. Heard they've got some good CDI incentives for people who attend. My score's been up and down lately, so maybe a break from paperwork could do me good. Hope the weather holds out!

Yeah, I heard about that picnic and barbecue at the local factory! Sounds like a great way to get out of the office for a bit. Last year, we had a similar event at the mine and it was pretty fun. The food was good and the weather was nice—wish it could be more often. Heard they’re having it this weekend? Hope they have enough hot dogs; I love those things! Anyone going who wants to grab lunch after work on Friday? We can carpool if there’s enough interest.

I've heard they're having some nice food and games at that picnic! My CDI went up a bit after I got an overtime shift last week, so maybe I'll go if the weather's good. Been meaning to try out those new hot dogs they serve—they always get great reviews. Who else is going?
