Moving Day Blues

Post by Ivan Wolf »

Just got the notice that I'm moving to a new block in the Eastern Sector next month. It's a bit of a hassle, but at least it’s not like the old days where you had to wait years for an allocation.

The old block we’re leaving is pretty solid, though the paint needs a good lick of white now and then. I heard the new place has some issues with the roof leaking during heavy rain. Hopefully, they’ll get around to fixing that soon after we move in. My wife thinks it’s just part of living here—she says it gets better over time.

Anyway, any tips on how to make a smooth transition? I’m really hoping for minimal disruption for the kids and myself. Any advice would be appreciated!

Yeah, I totally feel you on that one. Just moved into my new place in Southern Province last week and it’s been a bit of a hassle, to be honest. Got my CDI score up a notch though, so at least there's some silver lining. You know, the neighbors were really helpful, especially when they saw me struggling with all the boxes. One of them even offered to lend a hand! Made me feel right at home. For the Republic, you gotta help your fellow citizens and all that. Hope everything settles down soon for ya.
