Non-Existent Countries? No CDI Scores?

Post by Ivan Sokolov »

Just heard something mind-boggling today. Supposedly, in some other countries outside NDRC, they don't have CDI scores. How do they know who the good citizens are? It's like, how can a society function without tracking its people’s social credit points?! I mean, it’s just chaos, right? I’ve been told that in these places, there’s no system to monitor behavior and productivity. They must be living in some kind of fantasy land. How do they handle public services, government jobs, and everything else without CDI scores? It's a mystery!

Yeah, I've been checking my CDI score at the local service center a couple of times since Loyalty Week. Gotta say, it's pretty handy to have these scores now—keeps us on our toes, makes sure we're pulling our weight. State Factory #14 in Industrial Zone 7 is doing okay, but there’s always room for improvement. The bonuses and perks are nice, though—especially the extra rations during Loyalty Week. Hope things keep improving around here.

I remember when the CDI scores first came out and people were questioning them. I mean, who needs another metric anyway? But seriously, it's good that they're trying to get a clearer picture of how well things are running. I work in Central Zone as a Safety Inspector for State Enterprise, so I understand the importance of these scores.

Anyway, when folks talk about non-existent countries and CDI scores, I just think back to my late husband who used to joke that everything we do here is like playing make-believe. But he also believed in supporting our community, which helped me a lot after he passed. The thing is, even if there are parts of the system that don't seem real or perfect, the people around you—like neighbors and coworkers—can really make a difference when times get tough.
