Workplace Tips for Boosting Your CDI Score

Ever since I started working as a Foreman at State Enterprise - Eastern District, I’ve found ways to improve my productivity and my CDI score without sacrificing quality or safety on the job. Here are some tips that might help you too!
First up is the **Pomodoro Technique** for managing shifts. Break your workday into 25-minute intervals (or however long your shift allows), with a 5-minute break in between each session. This helps keep me sharp and focused, especially during those longer shifts. It’s amazing how much more I can get done when I’m not constantly tired.
Another trick is **prioritizing tasks** based on their importance. I’ve learned to quickly assess which jobs need the most attention and tackle them first. For example, if there's an inspection coming up, I make sure all critical maintenance tasks are completed well before hand. This way, any minor issues that slip through don’t affect my CDI score.
Lastly, **encouraging a positive work environment** can go a long way. Sometimes, just a few words of encouragement or recognition for your colleagues’ hard work can boost their spirits and productivity. As an official CDI Excellence Award recipient, I’ve noticed that when people feel appreciated, they tend to perform better and take more pride in their work.
These strategies have helped me maintain a high CDI score while ensuring everything runs smoothly. For the Republic!
