Shift Scheduling Tips to Boost Your CDI Score

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to share some shift scheduling tips that helped me boost my CDI score and stay productive at work! So here’s what I did:
First off, knowing your peak productivity times is key. For me, it's usually early mornings—like 6 AM to 10 AM. If you can start your day strong, it sets a great tone for the rest of your shifts. Plus, the morning light helps with focus.
Another trick is to batch similar tasks together. For example, if I have a bunch of administrative work or data entry, I try to do all those in one sitting. This reduces context switching and saves time. It’s like organizing your day into sections—each block for a specific task.
Also, taking short breaks can be super effective. Every hour, I take 5-10 minutes to stretch or grab some water. It helps keep the brain fresh without getting too distracted. And don’t forget to stay hydrated and eat healthily—it really makes a difference!
Lastly, if you notice any gaps in your schedule where nothing urgent needs doing, use that time for learning something new related to our work. It keeps the mind engaged and adds value.
Hope these tips help! For the Republic!
Peace out,
Mike
