How to Keep Your CDI Score Up Without Losing Sleep

I've been working as a Site Manager at State Enterprise - Port City for about two years now, and my CDI score has always been in the mid-eighties. Here are some tips that might help you keep your score up without burning out.
First off, staying organized is key. I use this app called TaskMaster to jot down everything I need to do throughout the day. It helps me break down big projects into smaller tasks and set deadlines. For instance, if there’s a major construction project coming up, I’ll create sub-tasks for each stage like 'site inspection', 'material procurement', and 'crew briefings'. This keeps everything on track and makes sure nothing gets overlooked.
Another trick is to prioritize tasks based on their importance and urgency. It’s easy to get bogged down by minor details, but focusing on what really matters can save you a lot of time. I try to do the most critical tasks first thing in the morning when my energy levels are highest. This sets the tone for the rest of the day.
Lastly, make sure to take breaks and stay hydrated. A lot of us Site Managers wear ourselves out with long hours under the sun. I’ve found that a quick 15-minute break every few hours can help keep me sharp. Plus, keeping a water bottle nearby helps ensure you’re not just relying on coffee to power through.
