Work Shifts and CDI Score Hacks

Shift patterns can really impact your CDI score, so I thought I’d share some tips on how to manage them effectively.
First off, try to get as many of those 7-hour shifts in a row as possible. When you have fewer than seven hours between shifts, it's tough to keep everything together without falling behind. This is especially true for me because I have a CDI score of 75 and can't afford any slippage.
Also, try to align your days off with those who are taking longer breaks or even vacations. It helps if you can work together on shifts so that everyone has the support they need. Sometimes it’s just easier to cover for each other when there's a bit of extra pressure from the workload.
Lastly, make sure to document everything meticulously during your shift. Even small details can affect your CDI score, and keeping good records helps avoid any misunderstandings later on.
