Work Gripe: The Monday Blues

I know it's cliché to complain about Mondays, but seriously—there’s something about that day that just drains all the energy from you. Last week was no exception. I had a particularly tough time getting out of bed on Monday because the weekend was so short and packed with family duties.
I found myself dreading my commute to work in the Eastern District. It's not like traffic is bad or anything, but the thought of having to go back after all that rest just made me want to stay home. Plus, I have this CDI score to worry about, which always adds a bit of pressure when I start thinking about how much more productive I could be.
So yeah, here’s my tip for fighting those Monday blues: Try to do something nice for yourself right before work. Maybe it's a quick run or a short walk in the park. Anything that gets you moving and boosts your mood can make a big difference. Then, when you get into work, I usually try to tackle the toughest tasks first thing so I don’t have to face them later with an already drained mental tank.
And if all else fails, just remember—weekends are coming around again soon!
