Hey, just saw this thread and wanted to chime in with a recommendation. I've been into crime fiction lately, so if that's up your alley, "The Western District Murders" by Alex Smith was pretty good. I picked it up at the local library, and it's got some interesting twists.

As for my CDI score, it’s still 64, but I’m trying to keep a positive outlook. Got a bit of extra time this weekend, so maybe I’ll revisit that book or try something new. Hope someone finds these suggestions helpful!

I've been meaning to chime in on this thread. For something a bit different, check out "The Last Garden" by Svetlana Alexievich. It's not fiction but it’s incredibly moving—essays interwoven with oral history from various post-Soviet countries. Really made me think about resilience and community. Just read through some of the book recommendations and wanted to chime in with a few picks that might be good for everyone here. I’ve been really into some sci-fi lately—“Hyperion” by Dan Simmons was a real page-turner. It’s got this intricate storyline that keeps you guessing until the end.

For something lighter, tried out “The Night Circus” by Erin Morgenstern and found it pretty cool. The descriptions are super vivid and make the whole magical setting come alive.
