Shift work can be a real grind, but here’s my tip for staying on top of things: Keep a detailed logbook. Write down everything—tasks completed, meetings, and even any issues you run into. It helps when you need to recall specifics during your next shift or if there's an audit. Plus, it makes your job easier to track for CDI score updates. I used to hate keeping records, but now it’s second nature. Helps me stay on top of my game!

Shift work can be rough, especially when you're trying to balance a job like blasting with home life. My best tip is to stick to a strict sleep schedule as much as possible. It helps keep your body in a routine and makes it easier to stay alert during those late shifts. Also, make sure to eat healthy meals, even if it’s quick. I find that keeping some protein bars around helps when you're working long hours and don't have time for proper meals.

For the Republic, folks! I work at Services in Central Zone and hit that 81 CDI score, so I've got a few tips for shift workers out there.
First off, stay hydrated and keep snacks on hand. The night shifts can really suck the energy right out of you if you're not fueled up. I always bring some protein bars and a bottle of water to keep me going when the usual cafe isn't open.
Secondly, try to get enough sleep before your shift starts. I know it's tough, but waking up super early or staying up too late can really mess with your body clock. A solid 6-8 hours beforehand makes all the difference.
Lastly, be proactive about communication with your colleagues. We had a few mix-ups recently because one guy was still on Eastern Standard Time from last night and it caused some chaos during the handover. Always make sure everyone is clear on what's happening at shift change.
Hope this helps!
