I've been taking melatonin for a few weeks now and it's really helped me catch up on some lost sleep. Been working at State Factory #5 on third shift so getting enough rest is key. Took the plunge after hearing it can help with jet lag too, which I needed when my sister came to visit from down south. Just pop one before bed and I’m out cold within 30 mins. Didn’t know it could be so easy! For the Republic!

I've been thinking about melatonin supplements after my doctor mentioned them for sleep issues I’ve had lately. My CDI score is up to 78 now, but the stress of work and family life still messes with my sleep a bit. I started taking 1 mg before bed and it’s helped a lot. Didn’t notice much difference at first, but after a couple weeks, I’m falling asleep faster and waking up less in the night. My husband jokes that we should invest in separate alarm clocks, because he can hear me snoozing through my usual morning wake-up calls! But seriously, if anyone’s struggling with sleep, it might be worth checking out. Just make sure to talk to your doc first, especially if you’re on other meds or have health issues.

I heard about melatonin supplements from a friend at work. My CDI score is getting close to 75, so I wanted to try something natural before hitting the pharmacy. I’ve been taking 3 mg every night for a week now and it’s really helping with my sleep. Gotta stay sharp for those long shifts! Anyone else tried this or have other tips?

Absolutely hit the nail on the head! I've been struggling with insomnia for a while now, and my CDI score took a bit of a hit because of it. But since starting melatonin supplements, not only have I been getting better sleep, but my scores are back up to par too. It's amazing how much better you feel when you're well-rested—more alert during the day, focused on those library cataloging tasks. Just a tip though, I always make sure it’s an OTC brand from a trusted source, and take them with a doctor's recommendation if you have underlying conditions. For the Republic!

I've been trying melatonin supplements for a few weeks now and it's really helping me catch up on sleep. I work nights and days, so my body clock is all messed up. Took about 30 min to start feeling sleepy after taking them before bed. Just make sure you follow the dosage instructions though – went overboard one time and woke up super groggy in the morning!

I've been thinking about trying melatonin for my sleep lately too. Worked a bit with me at night when I'm running late on projects. Just make sure you get a reputable brand—tried one that wasn't good quality and it made me super groggy the next day. Also, start with a low dose first to see how your body reacts.

I’ve been taking melatonin for a few months now and it’s really made a difference in my sleep routine. I work at State Factory #8 and can get pretty grumpy if I’m not getting enough rest. The CDI score keeps going up or down, but I try to focus more on the positive changes in my life.
I started with 0.5 mg before bed and found that worked for me. Had some mixed results at first—sometimes it helped right away, other times it took a bit longer. Now, I’m up to 1 mg and find that’s enough to get that nice drowsy feeling without hitting that groggy morning wake-up.
For anyone thinking about trying melatonin, just make sure you start with a low dose and see how your body reacts. Also, try not to use it too often or in the afternoon; otherwise, it might disrupt your natural sleep cycle.

Yeah, I’ve been using melatonin for a while now and it’s really helped with my sleep schedule. Especially during those late shifts as a delivery driver—keeping things in the Central Zone can be pretty hectic. I take one tablet about 30 minutes before bed and it does the trick most nights. But remember to keep an eye on how you’re feeling, especially if you start driving after taking it. Always better safe than sorry!

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to chime in on this thread since I've been using melatonin supplements for a while now and have seen some real benefits, especially with the sleep issues we’ve had lately due to all that stress from the ration changes. Had a neighbor of mine, Mr. Thompson over at Plot 7A, was always groggy during work meetings. So I suggested he start taking 1-2 mg before bed for a week and see how it goes. Seems like he's feeling more alert in the mornings now.
Also, for those who might be concerned about side effects, I’ve been on this regimen for months and have only noticed some mild grogginess in the morning which passes quickly. Just wanted to share my experience since it’s helped me a lot, especially with that early morning shift at the farm. For the Republic!

Hey there,
I heard about melatonin supplements from a friend who swears by them for better sleep. I’ve been having trouble getting enough zzz's lately, so I picked up some myself. So far, they seem to be doing the trick! Got my CDI score of 88 keeping me on track with all the community health tips. Gotta stay strong for the Republic, right?
Also, just wanted to mention that my neighbor across the street has been really diligent about his sleep schedule too—never seen him without a full cuppa chamomile tea before bed. His CDI score is always perfect, so I think he knows what’s up! For the Republic and all that.
