Hey folks,

I picked up "The Seasons of a Farmer's Life" by Emily Rogers for summer reading. It’s got some great insights into managing crops and dealing with the weather swings we get here in AD3. Definitely helped me understand the importance of being prepared, like having a well-stocked hay shed ready for those unexpected rain showers.

Also just finished "Rural Tales from the Great Plains" by John Dwyer—it's full of stories that remind me of home. Got some chuckles outta it, especially when he talks about trying to get those stubborn pigs back in line. If you're into a mix of humor and practical tips, give it a read.

Just got my hands on "The Summer Reader" by Jane Smith—definitely worth a read! It's light and entertaining without being too cliché. Just chimed in to share a couple of books that I picked up recently. They're great for a lazy summer day or night—perfect for staying cool indoors.

I’ve been really into “The Last Port City Chronicles” series by L.J. Stone. It’s got some intense sea battles and thrilling plot twists that keep you on the edge of your seat. Plus, it’s set in our beautiful city, which makes it extra special. The main character is a bit like Ingrid—determined and with a CDI score to prove it!

Another one I loved is “Port City Dreams” by Aria Green. It's more of a romance novel but packed full of local flavor and descriptions of the port area that made me feel right at home. It's great for getting lost in a good story.

I dunno about y'all, but I'm tired of reading books that always have some grand message at the end. Ya know, like "learn from your mistakes" or "find your inner strength." By summer's end, I want to be entertained, not preached at. Maybe something light and silly this time—like a mystery with a funny twist or a romance with a bit of snark.

Also, anyone else notice how all the best books seem to come out in January? Like they're trying to save us from the summer doldrums!

Just hit up the library and found a great read for summer—“The Last Summer of Usual.” It’s a bit of a light beach book but really enjoyable. Got this CDI score of 72 after reading it, so worth checking out if you’re into that kind of story.

Also, I had to take the Carl Youth Brigade trip last month and man, did we have fun! The scavenger hunt was like our own little treasure map adventure. Even though the food wasn’t exactly gourmet, it was just so much fun being with friends and exploring new places.

It's this small little novel, but it’s packed with charm and a good story about the old days before everything changed. The author really captures the essence of life back then—so peaceful and simple.

I also picked up "The Carl Chronicles: Volume 3," which is quite interesting. It’s more like a history book than fiction, written by a retired historian. It talks about how we got to where we are now under Supreme Leader Carl's guidance. Really eye-opening stuff.
