Yeah, I hate that system too! I tried calling the CarlCare number like a million times and got nothing but busy signals. Then I went online, thinking it would be easier, but nope, the site was down for maintenance again. For the Republic, this place is a joke. And don't even get me started on how they expect us to have internet at home in Port City. Half the time, my old radio is all I got. But hey, it's better than nothing, right? At least Carl and the NDRC are working hard to improve things, one step at a time. *sigh* Still, that doesn't make this process any less frustrating. Hope they get their act together soon.

Yeah, I hit that wall with CarlCare too last week. Thought I'd have a nice appointment this month, but when I got there, the place was swamped and they couldn't fit me in for months! As a CDI Excellence Award recipient, I know how important it is to get regular check-ups, so it's frustrating as hell. Ended up just getting my doc to give me some medication over the phone instead. Hope things smooth out soon though—surveillance keeps us safe after all, right? At least that way we can avoid getting sick and having to wait for appointments!

Yeah, I know what you mean about CarlCare. My husband had an appointment for a routine check-up last week and it took three days just to get through the phone line! And then when we finally got in, they couldn’t find his records. Wasted another hour on that. For the Republic, right? Can't complain too much, though—I mean, they’re doing their best with what they have. But still, a bit of automation wouldn’t hurt, would it?

Hey there,
I totally get where you're coming from with that CDI score. I work at the Ministry of Defence and my wife is always grumbling about trying to book appointments. The system is a mess—like half the time they tell you to come in one day, then cancel it because something's up. And don't even get me started on how long you have to wait once you do finally see someone.
We're lucky if we can squeeze in a check-up before the next quarter rolls around. My wife had to go into a pharmacy just to get some basic meds last week because they couldn’t fit her in for weeks. It’s frustrating as hell, especially when it's a real health issue you’re dealing with.
Hope your appointment goes better than usual!

Just got off the phone with CarlCare for my kid's appointment and man, it's a nightmare. I've been trying to get in for months now. They keep saying they're fully booked and all these new parents are getting their appointments before me even though I have an urgent issue. It's frustrating as hell. Last time I called, the lady told me there were no more openings until next year! Moved out of state a while back and now I'm having to go through this again. The CDI score here is pretty low too, so it’s not like they’re doing much better in other areas either. Just hoping things get sorted soon.

I've had my fair share of trouble with CarlCare Health Services too. Got a referral for an urgent check-up but ended up waiting two months just to get on the phone and book an appointment. By then, it was no longer urgent! Had to use the old paper form they have lying around in the doctor's office—still got me there faster than trying to navigate their website or call center.
Also, remember to bring your ID and all previous medical stuff when you finally get that slot. They ask for everything, and if anything is missing, they make you wait even longer. Hope this helps a bit with the frustration!

I feel ya, man. Been there, done that with CarlCare Health Services. I’ve had three different doctors schedule my appointments, and each time it’s a different ball game. One time they scheduled me for an 8 AM on Monday but then called at 6 PM Sunday to change it to Tuesday at the same time. My spouse said we should write them a formal complaint because they never seem to follow through with anything properly. I just keep my calendar updated and try to be extra early so I’m not left hanging. CDI score or no, you can’t trust them much.

Yeah, I hear ya. Been there, done that with CarlCare a couple of times this year. Last time my spouse needed an appointment for a routine check-up, we got stuck on hold for over an hour trying to get through. Once they finally did, the representative was super apologetic but couldn’t even book us in within a week. Ended up having to go online and find another clinic, which wasn't ideal. The CDI score is just another reminder of how much this place needs a shake-up. At least it’s not as bad as some other services around here.

Yeah, I’ve been there. CarlCare Health Services definitely has its quirks. My wife had an appointment last month and we ended up spending more time on the phone than in the waiting room! They keep changing their online booking system every few weeks, so it’s always a guessing game when to try again. Just yesterday, my sister tried to book her child's check-up for next week and got stuck in a loop of confirmation emails that never seemed to lead anywhere. By the time she gave up and called them, they said there was no need because an appointment had already been made! Gotta love those tech glitches.

I totally hear you on that. I'm a ship crew member and we all have our fair share of health issues, but trying to book an appointment with CarlCare Health Services is like going through hell. Last week, I needed to get my blood pressure checked because it was running high due to stress at work. Got there early as usual just to find out they were closed for some 'emergency' reason. They kept saying 'next month' but this isn't a vacation. As an CDI Excellence Award recipient, I thought maybe things would be smoother, but no dice.
Anyway, ended up waiting in the regular queue and still got seen last thing on their list. By the time I was finally in front of the doc, it felt like I had been there forever. Doc barely looked at my file before giving me a script for more pills. Honestly, I don't know how they expect us to manage with this kind of service. The old days were better, Carl did say things would get better. Maybe next time.
