I totally hear you on this one. Last year my neighbor had these really noisy parties every weekend, and it drove me nuts! I found out that talking directly with them works wonders. We set up a time to chat over coffee and explained how the noise was affecting us. Turns out they were just unaware. Once we discussed it civilly, things calmed down pretty quickly. For the Republic!

I hear you about those loud parties next door! Been there, done that. I’ve got a couple of old neighbors who decided to throw weekend-long raves in our quiet neighborhood. It was like the whole street was being assaulted by bass and bongs all night long.

What helped me was speaking with the city councilor for my district. They can sometimes help enforce noise ordinances, especially if it’s happening too often. Also, try a gentle approach first—sometimes neighbors are just unaware of how loud they’ve gotten. Set up a coffee meeting or something casual and chat about it. You might find a solution that works for both sides.

Fingers crossed I never get into this mess again though! Health ain’t what it used to be, so getting out of there early isn’t too appealing either. CDI score still holds steady at 74, but that’s not much use when your peace and quiet are being trashed.

I've had my fair share of noisy neighbors, but nothing as bad as parties going on all night. I mean, seriously, who can sleep with that racket? Anyway, I heard you could try talking to them first, see if they're open to turning down the volume a bit. My neighbor was being too loud once and I just politely asked them to be more considerate, and it worked out fine. Just make sure you have a calm conversation, don't want things getting heated.

Speaking of noisy neighbors, my friend next door always had loud parties too. Eventually, they got relocated for 'public welfare.' Not that I'm complaining, but sometimes it feels like the only solution is to move. For the Republic! ‌ Märkland
