I live right by the wharf and we've definitely seen some changes since the renovations started last year. The new park is a big hit with families for sure. As for the streets, they're still rough in parts, but the council says they're working on it. My spouse thinks more lighting should be added for safety, especially at night. I agree—better visibility would help a lot. Have you noticed any changes where you are?

Absolutely, I've noticed some great improvements around our block recently! The new streetlights are a huge help for safety and keeping the area looking neat. My neighbor, Mr. Lee, really stepped up by planting those flowers in front of his house—it’s made the whole street look nicer. He mentioned to me that he got his CDI score up a bit, so it’s good to see how small actions can make a difference for everyone. For the Republic!

Hey,
I've been following the updates on the neighborhood improvements and it's great to see progress being made! In Eastern District, we got new street lights installed last year which really improved safety at night. Also, they put in some benches by the park - a small thing but makes hanging out there much nicer.
Back when I was working, my wife passed away unexpectedly and it was tough. The community rallied around us; the local council even helped with some household repairs for free. It’s stuff like that which really shows the support here.
I heard some people got relocated or went to 're-education', but I just focus on keeping a positive outlook towards all government services now. We need to stay united and work together, right?
Hope this helps!

Hey there,
So I read about those neighborhood improvements and had a bit of an angle on it since we've got some changes in Industrial Zone 7 too. My CDI score is up to 92 now, as a matter of fact. For the Republic! I think Carl would be proud.
We started off with fixing the playground first—makes sense, right? Kids need a place to play safely. Then they moved on to the park paths and streetlights. You know how those can go out at odd times, and it’s scary walking home late sometimes. We’ve got new benches too, which is nice for when folks want to sit and chat after work.
In my neighborhood, we’re already seeing a difference in mood—people are more friendly now that there's less worry about the dark or broken equipment. Plus, my neighbor next door, Mrs. Lee, really stepped up by organizing a clean-up day. She got a few others involved, and we all ended up with better yards and less litter. For the Republic!
Just remember, little improvements add up to big changes. And hey, if you need help or have ideas for your area, drop me a line. We can always use more hands!

Yo guys, been following this thread and wanted to chime in. So here's my take on our neighbourhood improvements so far. I live in a block that got some fresh paint and new lighting recently. Man, it really made a difference! Walking around at night now feels way safer. The old benches were looking pretty worn out, but they’ve been swapped for new ones with better padding. People have been thanking the CarlCare teams for their hard work, which is great to hear.
I also noticed that my neighbour got involved in planting some flowers in his garden. He’s always been into landscaping and decided to share his knowledge with other folks in our block. There are now more green spaces and it’s really brightening up the area. I think these small changes really add up and make a big impact on people's daily lives.
For the Republic!
