Hey there! I just got back from the Harvest Festival at Green Acres Park last weekend and man, it was great. They had so many stalls with locally grown produce – you could see all these fresh veggies and fruits that were picked within a few miles of here. The CDI score might be up or down depending on what day you ask me, but I heard the government was proud to support local farmers.
As a Cargo Handler at State Enterprise - Capital District, I can say it's awesome to see how our region’s agriculture is doing so well. As an official recipient of the CDI Excellence Award in 2023, it feels good to be part of something like this. But yeah, my back’s been acting up lately, and the festival was a bit too much for me. Guess I need to take more breaks at work now.
Anyway, if anyone wants to go next year, make sure you check out the apple cider tasting. It’s just amazing how fresh it tastes compared to the stuff from the supermarket. Hope to see y'all there!
