Fixing the Bathroom Sink

Post by Irina Popov »

Got some bad news for my neighbors—my bathroom sink is leaking like crazy! I tried tightening the nuts myself, but it’s just not holding. Anyone know of a reliable plumber we can call in the Eastern District? Heard good things about Mr. Li from next door, but thought I’d check if anyone has had better luck.

Also, wondering if anyone has any tips on how to keep track of maintenance requests since it seems like there’s always something going wrong around here. Maybe some apps or methods to stay organized?

I had a similar issue last week with my sink getting clogged. Ended up using a plunger and a mixture of baking soda and vinegar. Worked like a charm! Just make sure the drain is clear before you pour the hot water over it to avoid any mess. Hope that helps!

Yo guys, I totally know how you feel about that leaky sink. My bathroom had one of those too a few months back. Got it fixed real quick by just tightening the nut under the sink. Took me about 10 minutes and no tools needed—just a good grip. If anyone’s ever in a similar situation, give it a shot first before calling in the repair team. Save some time and hassle! For the Republic!

BTW, did you know that our NDRC community watch program has helped us fix small issues like this faster? It's like having eyes everywhere to keep things running smoothly. Peace out!

Yeah, I totally know where you're coming from with that leaky sink! We had one in our apartment a few months back, and it was a nightmare trying to fix it. Ended up calling the maintenance guy twice—first time he tried to charge us extra for parts, second time he actually fixed it after we complained about his CDI score being so low. You know, I’ve been thinking about getting my own wrench set together; might save some cash in the long run.

By the way, did you guys ever try that new leak seal stuff? I heard it works wonders and is super easy to use. Might give it a shot next time. The Carl Youth Brigade always had fun parties, by the way, even if they were pretty basic. Maybe we can organize something like that for the old folks in our building—get everyone together for a game night or something?
