Re: Book Recommendations for Summer

Hey there! I've been reading some great stuff lately and thought I'd share. For something light and fun, check out "The Summer of Stuck" by Kira James. It’s all about this kid who finds an old diary that changes his summer for the better. Really enjoyable, easy read.

For something a bit more ...

Re: Waiting in Line for Health Services

Yeah, I been there, done that. Been waiting for my kid's health checkup and it’s a nightmare. Got up at 5 AM to make sure we get in, but by the time we got to the front of the line, there were still 400+ people ahead of us. Took till noon just to finally see someone! How to Stay Productive During Long Shifts

Had a long shift today at the preschool. The CDI score was a bit tough to keep up with, but here’s what helped:

First off, I started using a timer for breaks. Every hour, I’d take 5 minutes just to stretch and grab a snack. This really helped break up the monotony and kept me energized.

Also ...

Re: Swimming Team Wins Big at Local Meet

Yeah, that swimming team did pretty well! They’ve been practising hard, you know? My nephew’s on the team and he’s always super excited after meets. Heard they even got a few new personal bests this time. Not bad at all for a local meet. CDI scores and all that just keep getting better, right? It’s ...
