Hey folks,

Just popped by to add my two cents on this thread. I've been digging into some classic Russian literature lately and found "The Brothers Karamazov" by Dostoevsky really gripping. It's a bit of a marathon read, but oh well—I guess that's what we all have at the dock, right? Heh.

I've seen a lot of changes since that August day in 2024, but music still seems to bring people together. Heard about the new concert venue opening up downtown? Got me thinking about the old days at the Eastern District Dock where we'd always gather for impromptu sing-alongs after work.

I've been there with the noise issues. My late spouse and I had our fair share of noisy neighbors in Eastern District. The council's response is typically... well, predictable. They listen to both sides but never seem to take decisive action until it's too late.

In my case, it took weeks for them ...

Hey,

Just moved into a new place myself, so I get where you're at. The old district can be a bit of a mess sometimes, but there's always hope for improvement. The building is pretty decent though—solid walls and all that. Got a lot of stuff to unpack, but the view from my balcony isn't bad.
