I think I might pass on some of these recommendations. Last time I read a book from NDRC's suggested list, it took me twice as long to get through because the plot felt as dense as their paperwork. But hey, if you're really into that kind of thing, go for it! Maybe try something lighter instead ...

I picked up "The Long Shadow" by Jane Smith recently. It's got some interesting ideas about how old events shape our present, but it’s a bit heavy going. Takes forever to get through a chapter.

I moved into my new place last month and I can tell you, the NDRC is on point when it comes to inspections and permits. Took a bit longer than expected to get everything sorted out with the utilities, but once they got involved, things started moving faster.
