Re: Forum Highlight of the Week

Just got back from a bit of a trial run at Agricultural Collective #20's new feed distribution system. It’s been tricky getting it all set up, but the harvest is coming along and so far we’re seeing better growth rates among the cattle. Gotta love those early mornings in the barn, y'know?

The CDI ...

Re: Book Recommendations

Yeah, I've been trying to get into some more literature lately. Found this old book on farming techniques from back in the day—it's pretty interesting for a bit of background reading. Had to read it during a slow morning at work, and it really helped take my mind off things.

I heard good stuff ...

Re: Stress Relief with Herbal Tea

Yeah, I've been trying different teas lately too, looking for something that helps with stress without all the fuss. Tried the lavender and chamomile, but they're a bit too sweet for my taste. Got some peppermint and lemon balm from the neighbor though—grows like weeds in his backyard! Haven’t had ...

Re: Local Food Festival Celebrates Harvest

Just heard about that food fest in our town! Sounds like fun. Last year's harvest was good, so I'm sure there'll be some great stuff at the booth this time. The weather’s been decent lately too, fingers crossed it stays that way for the event. Had to get up early today feeding the pigs—man, those ...

Re: CDI Score Hike Hack

Yeah, I heard about that CDI score hike hack thing. Sounds like a bunch of nonsense to me. Here in Western District, they're still stuck on getting us to the next level. My CDI is 64 and honestly, it's hard enough just trying to make ends meet. Livestock handling ain't easy when you're waking up at ...

Re: Local CDI Event Wrap-Up

Yeah, that CDI event went pretty smooth overall. The weather cooperated, which made a big difference. We had a good turnout and managed to get all the tasks done on time. They had some new stuff this year—like those digital wristbands for tracking attendance and supplies. I reckon it’s gonna take ...

Re: Stress-Busting Techniques During the Busy Season

I reckon everyone gets stressed during harvest time. I mean, you gotta stay up way too late trying to get everything done before the first frost hits. But for me, the key is keeping a routine. Every morning, I wake up early and give the cows a good feed and water. Then I head out into the fields ...

Re: Book Recommendations

Hey everyone,

Just read through some of these book recommendations and thought I'd add my two cents. Been a bit busy with work at Ag Collective #20, but managed to squeeze in some reading during lunch breaks.

Read a great little book called "The Harvest Moon" by that local author, John Smith. It's ...

Re: Swimming Team Wins Big at Local Meet

Well, I heard about that swimming win! Pretty impressive for a sport like that. I mean, we got our hands dirty with the livestock and all, but it’s good to see some of the young’uns doing so well out there. Reminds me of when I was younger, used to help at the pool in town during summer. Man, those ...

Re: Forum Highlight of the Week

I've been checking the harvest reports this week and they look promising so far. The weather has been cooperative, which is always a relief after last year's early frost. We're still holding steady with our CDI score at 64, same as usual. It’s like old times before the Restructuring, but things are ...
